Jessica Simpson Bares All In ‘Marie Claire’ Magazine

Jessica Simpson's doing the unthinkable in the latest issue of Marie Claire -- posed without a hint of makeup, Photoshoppage or retouching on the cover and inside the pages of the May 2010 issue of Marie Clarie.

We're used to seeing Jessica almost as done up as Dolly Parton. But Jessica, who's currently starring in the VH1 show "The Price Of Beauty," took to Marie Claire to confront most women's biggest fear: leaving the house without so much as a trace of mascara. And if you're reading this in an RSS reader or phone and you can't see the pix of Jessica with no makeup, here's a spoiler: she's still gorgeous.

+ Watch Jessica take back what's Jessica's in her "I Belong To Me" video. And tell us what you think of Jessica Simpson's bare-faced photos?

Two if by sea!

Minnie Driver cuddles with son Henry Story as they look out over the ocean on Sunday in Malibu, Calif.

The 19-month-old beach babe is the only child for Driver, 40, who recently shared her boy’s latest milestones.

Mama was his first word, Dada, then ‘tar’ — which is guitar, and Bubba, which is the dog. And now he blows kisses at the ladies in the supermarket. He’s a big flirt. Big blue eyes, big white blond head of hair. He’s very handsome.”

Video Sneak Peek: Cypress Hill, Featuring Pitbull, ‘Armada Latina’

Back in the day when Cypress Hill's "How I Could Just Kill A Man" was booming out of car stereos everywhere you went, if you'd told me that in 2010 we'd have little tablets to watch movies on at the same time that the same Cypress Hill would be making lady-friendly songs with Pitbull AND that Cyprus Hill would be sampling Crosby, Stills & Nash, I would've a) been taken aback by the specificity of your prognostications and b) not believed you.

But here we are, 2010 and Cypress Hill's back with "Armada Latina," the first single from their eighth album, Rise Up. The cut features the man who popularized "Hotel Room Service," as well as some doo-doo-doo-doo-do's from classic rockers CS&N.

Enjoy a preview of Cypress Hill's "Armada Latina" video, featuring Pitbull, below. The "Armada Latina" video premieres on MTV and MTV.com tomorrow. And while you're at it, get a little insane in the membrane for good measure.

Jennifer Lopez: Why Moms Must ‘Take Care’ of Themselves

Courtesy Redbook

Women do themselves a disservice in their rush to be all things to all people, Jennifer Lopez says in the May issue of Redbook.

“We tend to give away a lot,” the 40-year-old actress and singer points out.

“We take care of a lot of people, and we can’t forget to take care of ourselves.”

As for just how an overwhelmed mom might set out to make that happen, Lopez suggests starting small.

“If that means once a week you’re going to go off without the kids … and just go shoe shopping — well, that’s me, because I love shoes — or get a facial even if your sister thinks that’s selfish, or join a Zumba class, or take a painting class, or whatever, you’ve just got to do it,” she explains. “It’s just two hours a week, for heaven’s sake.”

Getting away is only half the battle, however, and Lopez admits that no matter where she is her thoughts are often with Emme Maribel and Maximilian David, her 2-year-old twins with husband Marc Anthony.

“I never expected to feel the guilt of not being able to be there for them at every single moment,” she confesses. “You feel guilty whenever you can’t have your kids right there with you on your hip. And for me there’s two, so it’s bad back and bad arm time having a 50-pound kid on each side.”

In fact, Lopez goes on to list guilt as the biggest surprise of motherhood. Remarking that “nobody every tells you” about the feeling, she theorizes that perhaps, “women are a little ashamed to admit it.”

Coming to terms with a growing family and demanding career “takes a lot of work,” but Lopez is quick to point out that it’s far from a solo struggle.

“I’m not different from any other mom who feels the need to go out there and work to provide the best for their kids,” she insists before adding, “I ask myself, ‘What would make me the best me to my kids?’ And that’s being a happy, healthy individual who has a sense of fulfillment and can give them everything they need.”

It is the latter sentiment which Lopez says drives her today.

“My main priority now is that my kids are happy; that’s my number-one focus in life,” she reveals. “Are these little people happy, content, and getting everything they need? Everything after that is secondary.”

Taking the focus off work and putting it instead squarely on Emme and Max has proven eye-opening in more ways than one. “I think the biggest thing they’ve taught me is what loving someone is and what it should feel like,” Lopez explains.

“It’s like, ‘Wow, how much do I love these children?’ No matter what they do — it doesn’t matter. This is what unconditional love means. It’s crazy, but it’s heaven and earth.”

The Jonas Brothers Go Shoeless For Charity

Earlier today we were musing a bit on the similarities between The Jonas Brothers and Hanson. Well smack us on the backside and call us "Serendipity," the separate sets singing brothers are teaming up with TOMS shoes to spread the world for children without shoes.

On April 8th, along with Hanson, The Jonas Brothers will be participating in One Day Without Shoes. TOMS is asking people to go shoeless for just a small part of their day to help "raise awareness of the impact a simple pair of shoes can have on a child's life."

You can learn more about the effort at OneDayWithoutShoes.Com. Watch the Jonas Brothers' and Hanson's TOMS PSAs below.

M.I.A. Lays The Smack Down On Lady Gaga, Ke$ha And Twilight

(Lady Gaga Photo Credit: Vanity Fair Italy)

Just because M.I.A. been quiet musically doesn't mean she ain't got her opinions. And in a recent interview with the NME she shared some of them; dissing "Twilight," Ke$ha and Lady Gaga and killing all of our dreams in the process.

According to M.I.A., Gaga pimps the system. The fiercely political, politically active singer may have "sold out" in the past, but according to the "Paper Planes" pilot, it's always for a good cause. When she gets a fee to play a corporate show (even one for MTV), she claims the proceeds go towards, "building a school in Africa."

So she's got no time for what she sees as Gaga's brazen commercialization of her music, especially in the video for "Telephone."Are they even interested in making money from music anymore? Lady Gaga plugs 15 things in her new video. Dude, she even plugs a burger."

M.I.A's no fan of Gaga's music either: "None of her music's reflective of how weird she wants to be or thinks she is. She models herself on Grace Jones and Madonna, but the music sounds like 20-year-old Ibiza music... But she’s a good mimic. She sounds more like me than I f++++++g do!"

On the top of Ke$ha, M.I.A. makes the oft-made assertion that the "Tik Tok" singer has been biting the style of hipster-dance princess Uffie.

M.I.A. saves her last dart for the the "Twilight" franchise, claiming she dodged the bullet of having to contribute to the soundtrack when label boss Jimmy Iovine intervened and spared her from the chore. Who knew contributing to soundtracks was such a tough gig?

Interesting points all around. You can check out the transcript of the chat here. But it's really nice out and we'd rather ride out to the below video for "Boyz."

5 Must-Have iPad Music Apps

(Credit: Apple)

I do not have an iPad because I hate waiting on lines and spending lots of money on things that I will likely drop and probably break and be sad about. That said, I will probably come around and buy an iPad. And if you do have an iPad or are planning on getting one, you should know that you are in for a wonderful world of music-centric applications to play with. Let's take a look at some of the cooler ones, ok?

+ Mixr DJ App
The Hold Steady's Craig Finn once sang, "most people are DJ's," and, like many things he sings, that's pretty much the truth. Everybody fancies themselves a bit of a dub selector or masher upper these days. Mixr is an early-adopters' wheels of steel for iPad.

+ MooCowMusic's Pianist Pro
Get your Tori Amos on with this ivories-for-iPad app. MooCowMusic comes with a drum machine in case your drummer friend thinks it's weird that you want to "jam" while he's on the skins and you're on a mini computer.

+ ForScore Sheet Music Reader
If we can get a bit personal, I was once something of a prodigy on the ol' recorder. People traveled from far and wide to hear me rip "Yankee Doodle Dandy." Why did I throw away the fame and fortune that would've come with being a professional recorder player? I couldn't get over how annoying it was to turn the sheet music. If I had had an iPad with ForScore's sheet music reader, I wouldn't have had to. Bummer.

+ Groovemaker House
I know what you're thinking, enough with the recorders and the pianos, I'm all about G.T.L., let's get to the House music. Ok, all my little Situations, Groovemaker's House app will have you beating up the beat in no time when you create your own House music.

+ Wunder Radio
While the iPad certainly has a lot of potential for music-making, there are many who just want to use it for music-listening. If that's the case, may we suggest Wunder Radio, which allows users to listen to 50,000 different radio stations.
